Rolling Back The Years
Clive had always thought his Safari (Dungraftin) was one of the last built and was dated about 1979.
Earlier this year he thought a little bit of modernising would be a good idea and eagerly set to work...
He sucessfully relined the front cabin and then decided to replace the dashboard.
To do this he temporarily removed the manufacturers plaque and other dashboard fittings....
The updated dashboard was duly fitted and the manufacturers nameplate was about to be refitted.
On turning over the said plate, and unnoticed until the very end, he found an ancient inscription....
....funny how life turns out sometimes!........Imagine Clive's surprise on finding that after spending around 3 months hard work modernising his vessel.....
....he had ended up with a boat that was older than when he started!
