Hampton Safari Boat Club 2010-2020
Celebrate Our Anniversaries at our 2021 Autumn Meet
Hampton Safari Boating 1970-2020
Autumn Meet - Salhouse Broad - Thursday 16th September 2021
17 Safari Club Boats and Crews already fully booked and confirmed - still room for a few more - come and join us and make it a "Full House at Salhouse" in 2021 - book your berth now - registrations for this event must close on 7th August...
Following the continuing success of the COVID vaccination programme and the likely lifting of remaining lockdown restrictions, we are pleased to announce an Autumn meet up event at Salhouse Broad on Thursday 16th September 2021. The event is an opportunity to meet up with fellow Hampton Safari owners and enthusiasts on an informal basis, with an overnight stop over within a group of reserved stern on moorings.
It is also a belated excuse for decorating your Safari with bunting and/or "fairy" lights (they will show up in autumn) to highlight our double anniversaries, postponed from last year! If you've been to one of our meets before you will know what to expect, and if you haven't, then why not be curious and come along and give it a try....
We have chosen this date to allow for reasonable daytime Breydon crossing times (in both directions), weather conditions and daylight hours. The event is also being held on a weekday to avoid peak demand for moorings at weekends and to facilitate us being able to reserve moorings.
A meet up registration/booking form is now open from now until 7th August. We'll look forward to meeting you all once again...

Introducing The "Hampton Safari Owners" Facebook Group
The Hampton Safari Boat Club predates the online information age and it unfortunately disbanded for many years before being resurrected and reinstated as an online website presence back in 2010. We currently have over 160 Hampton Safaris and their current owners registered with the club and located in many waterways of the UK and Europe.
With the increasing popularity of social media, in 2017 some Hampton Safari enthusiasts created a separate Owners Group on Facebook. Facebook groups and conventional websites such as this have different formats and styles and meet different user needs. Both have their own inherent strengths and weaknesses and users of either tend to have their own favourite media preference.
The site administrators of both the "Hampton Safari Boat Club" website and the "Hampton Safari Owners" Facebook Group, agree and stress that neither media site is in "competition" with the other and we actively encourage Users to access and/or contribute to both sites in the interests of sharing information useful to Hampton Safari owners and enthusiasts generally.....
